The information and activities on these pages are open to all international students studying in Birmingham.

We want to get to know you and to help you get the most out of your time here. In these pages you can find out about:

• social events for international students, where you can meet local people and other internationals, and get a better understanding of British culture
• opportunities to be invited to share a meal in local people’s homes
• activities for wives of international students (and female international students)

You will also find information for Christian students as well as opportunities for you if you are not a Christian and would like to find out more about the Christian faith.

We are a team of volunteers from Birmingham churches working in partnership with Friends International, a Christian charity which works throughout the UK to help connect international students with local people. We offer friendship to all international students, whatever their nationality, religion or beliefs, and seek to help them during their time in the UK.
